any list without billy "white shoes" johnson is automatically wrong. He wasn't the first, but he was the best. its like comparing babe ruth to bonds. White shoes did what he did in an era when NO ONE had TD dances.

I am sorry for using the "R" word - and NOTHING EL

What about the Philadelphia Eagles kneeling down in a circle, playing craps with the ball.

I loved when barry would not even stop and keep jogging, flip it into the refs hands and keep jogging.

Let's not forget the graddaddy of all TD dances: Elmo Wright's warpath march in the end zone.

Trivia quesation: who was the first ball spiker? NY fans should get this one.

Arnie's Army is right; Homer Jones of the NYG was the first spiker. It was quite modest by today's standards.

Some other favorites: Merton Hanks' Funky Chicken & the Eagles playing craps.

Derrick Brooks didn't do the lay up in the super bowl. That was Keenan McCardell.

there are many flaws in my list. I was just heated when I saw ESPN's top 10, and they had so many ommisions and gave wrongful props to some of the guys. thats really what this thread was about. not so much my top 10, but all the memorable ones I didnt see on the evening sportscenter. anyways I also think it was michael Irvin who dunked the ball in the super bowl, not harper. and terell owens as tasteless as it was the putting the ball on the cowboys star is propably better than my #6 or #9. and I would probably include sanders in there and have less owens. terell is so flamboyant, his celebrations stick out fairly easy.

One memorable one for me is T. Davis and the Mile High Salute. Good list going here.
